Alejandra joined the Global Brigades team in September 2020. Alejandra brings experience working as a medical interpreter with volunteer groups for three years, as well as work as an employment and training officer with a solar energy project. Shes’s excited to collaborate with volunteers and teams to plan and develop engaging brigade experiences while improving health and economic outcomes with community partners.
Alejandra earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Universidad Catolica de Honduras and completed graduate coursework, earning a master’s degree in business administration from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in Honduras.
When she’s not sharing her energy for community development work with volunteers, Alejandra enjoys swimming, singing (she considering herself quite the karaoke enthusiast), and cooking for family & friends.
