Dr. Rosario Giron has been with Global Brigades since 2010. She began working as a doctor on brigades, and is now the head of the Community Health Worker program in Honduras. She studied at the National University in Honduras where she earned her diploma as a doctor. Prior to joining the Global Brigades, Dr. Rosario worked with the Ministry of Health for 10 years in a Health Center and was in charge of the tuberculosis and STDs program. One aspect of her work that she loves is being able to see how our partner communities change with every new program that Global Brigades implements. In her freetime, Dr. Rosario loves watching baseball.
