Paola has a background in dentistry but is passionate about Global Health and has a strong desire to make a difference. She first started her journey in Global Brigades as a translator in 2016. She moved to Beijing, China in 2017 to work in dentistry but after a few years in that field, she came back to Honduras. Her time as a translator and her time abroad shaped her perspective on global issues and the impact on accessible healthcare. Paola believes in the transformative power of education as the best resource for health maintenance. As a Program Associate, she hopes to outreach even further Global Brigades’ mission where everyone has access to essential services and opportunities.
In her free time, Paola enjoys new cultures through travel and learning from diverse perspectives.
